Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, offering practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and stress. Dialectical Behavior Therapy teaches emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills that are useful for impulsivity, self-destructive patterns, and intense emotional reactions.
